Q: How long have you been a photographer?
A: In excess of 19 years. First as nature photographer and photojournalist for local newspapers, through friends weddings to referred weddings. Professional (paid) wedding photographer since 2012.

Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: Nikon bodies and lenses. Beside that, multiple flashes, continuos lights, reflectors etc. We have everything that is necessary to do our job well.

Q: How would you describe your photography style?
A: We call it “simple beauty”. It is timeless and classy, but also romantic and funny.

Q: What kind of pictures can I expect from my wedding?
A: Most of the wedding photos are photojournalism. We capture important moments from the different angles, in order to tell a story of the day. But we always try to find time to set some signature images.

Q: Do you work only in Bay Area?
A: National and international travel welcome. Inquire for more specifics.

Q: Do you have liability insurance?
A: Yes.

Q: How far in advance do you recommend we book your service?
A: Due to other requests, the earlier you book - the better. Feel free to inquire if we are available on certain days, even with short notice.

Q: How much deposit is required?
A: There is $500 non-refundable retainer along with the contract.

Q: How many photos will we receive?
A: We provide approximately 60 photos from engagement session and 80-100 images per hour from the wedding day.

Q: How long does it take to get all edited images?
A: Good post-production work takes time. Engagement photo files are provided on private online gallery within 3 weeks from the session date. Wedding photo files are provided on the custom designed wedding website with unlisted online galleries within 3 months from the wedding date.

Q: Will the photos be retouched and color balanced?
A: We make color correction and basic retouch for every single photo. Full retouch is done only for the album.

Q: What about a backup plan, if you are unable to shoot my wedding for some reason?
A: We never missed any wedding! So we do not even consider that kind of possibilities. It is two of us, so it is unlikely that both of us would not be able to come. As for a backup, we have many friends that are wedding photographers (some with similar photographic style), so there would be no problem to recommend / find someone to help out.

Q: What about requested photographs?
A: We do as many requested photographs as possible in a given period of time and circumstances.

Q. Do you shoot natural or artificial light? Do you bring your own lighting?
A: Both. Based on conditions. We love freedom of creativity that speedlights give us, but at the same time we respect venue requirements.

Q: What type of paper will you use for the prints and album?
A: To do the prints and albums we use professional photo labs, with a full range of their high quality papers. The choice is yours.

Q: Is it okay if other people take photos while you are taking photos?
A: We live in world with cell phones all around and there is nothing we can do about it. The only no no would be other hired photographer.

Q. If my event lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge?
A: Additional hour of coverage costs $350.

Q: What information do you need from me before the wedding day?
A: A few weeks before the wedding we email a request for timeline along with client questionnaire that is important for us to be well prepare.
